Teen Film Club @ Margaret Hennigar Public Library
Dec 21, 2016
Lunenburg Doc Fest is happy to share the following information about the Teen Film Club at the Margaret Hennigar Public Library in Bridgewater.
Want to be the next Steven Spielberg or Michael Bay, but don’t know where to start? Come to the library and take your first steps toward film greatness. Learn film basics such as how to use camera techniques, computer editing software, sound editing software, scriptwriting and storyboarding, acting, and much more! George Greer, South Shore Public Libraries’ Tech Intern will be on hand to guide this project.
Inspired by the Calgary Public Library’s Freedom to Read Week teen film contest (http://www.freedomtoread.ca/freedom-to-read-week/#.VpUU7k-DCho) we will work as a group to make a movie about banned books and censorship, but the script is up to you!
This program is open to all ages 14 and up.
Thursdays from 7:00-8:30pm, January 14-February 11
Margaret Hennigar Public Library, 135 North Park Street, Bridgewater
To register call 543-9222.
